Welcome to a whole new dating world

I’ve put off writing about this subject for months now. However, the more I read about it, the more I’m perplexed, disgusted and intrigued all at the same time. I’m taking about the world of dating coaches.
A while back, the speed dating documentarists called me back in for MTV style confessional interviews. I got chatty with the director and producer who let it slip that 4 of the 8 dates had been with dating coaches. These are professional wingmen skilled in the art of the pick-up. I threw myself into researching who these people were and what drove them to become one.
No doubt about it, these guys (and sometimes girls) are smooth operators, which is fine for the most part because I like my ice cream extra smooth — the crunchy nut toppings scare the beegeezus outta me. It’s weird to find out that I was a boy’s second date for the day. But to find out that I was a dating coach’s second date for the day makes me think I’m just an experiment. They have to be good, so they’ve probably had to practice a ton. But I’ll be honest, I had a fun time on the date, and I think his blog mentions he did too (those googlicious skills coming in handy)…But if they’re gurus of dating, they really should learn a thing or two about how to end a dating courtship properly because that’s how you stay classy. Or did I not get the memo? Are you supposed to shutoff all forms of communication between the two, without prior notice? Is that how kids roll these days?!? Even my apartment complex posted a 48hour notice before they tried to evict me…
Ultimately, I seriously doubt I’ll change my dating style knowing these types lurk in the dark corners of bars everywhere — they actually don’t like the dark areas because it’s not prime location for social visibility. But while I think peacocks are pretty to look at, I’m not sure that I’d want to date one.
Dating aren’t too difficult to get. It just takes a tiny bit of communication on both’s part! I am appreciative somebody realized that!
Reading this article reminded me of my brother Ted who claims he is studying to become a PUA, or “pickup artist.” LOL. He spends hours every day on internet forums reading and writing about this stuff. He’s not even getting dates with any of these girls either, he’s just approaching girls all the time and using dumb Guys should just be themselves and treat women with respect. Just be yourself and treat women with respect and we’ll give you a chance. And guys should also stop being so cheap. When I go to the club to get my drink on, I do NOT expect to pay for my own drinks and you guys are supposed to offer. I should start my own website and show guys how to REALLY get a girlfriend…and it starts with buying her gifts and following orders! lol…
