sorry alex, i didn't mean handshakes forever as a meet & greet hello. but when i'm introduced to people for the very first time, hugs and kisses seem overly friendly bordering on: "that chick is insane." with any yummy bread that i've had at least a 5 minute conversation with, i opt to hug it out. if i'm on european soil, then kisses on the cheek are also appropriate.

I don't like the handshake for when I am enthralled with or otherwise attracted to a woman. This piece of bread's hands get clammy, and there's nothing less attractive than a sweaty, clammy handshake. I'd like to keep my nervousness to myself, thank you very much.

so while you might not carry a sword with you, i on the other hand will be wielding weapons of mass destruction. because love is a battlefield, and i aim to be over-prepared rather than under. but i agree, bows are romantic. that's why it's cupid's weapon of choice.

I support the movement to stop the whole practice. I don't carry my sword with me anymore so I don't need to show the person I'm meeting that I come without weapon.

Can we bring back the bow? Nothing says romance like a noble bow.
